ABOUT CHRIS PRITT

Chris Pritt was raised in West Virginia and believes in Mountaineer values: putting family first, rewarding hard work, and keeping government in check.

He and his wife, Kelly, chose to build their life here. After finishing school, they settled in Charleston, and started a small law practice where they’ve since spent decades serving families and small businesses.

Chris’ involvement in politics started at the grassroots level, helping local campaigns and working with the county Republican Party, because he was frustrated watching government grow while working families paid the price.

In 2020 he was elected to office and in 2022, the voters elected him once again. As a legislator, Chris has built a reputation for being steady and consistent. He doesn’t chase headlines or falter when the pressure is on. Whenever he sees a new bill he asks himself two questions: Does it protect individual freedom? Does it grow government or keep it in check?

Chris proudly has never voted for a tax increase and has voted to cut taxes, protect property rights, defend the Second Amendment, and stand up for the unborn. If a bill expands government or drifts towards socialism, his answer is a resounding no.

Now running for State Senate, Chris is focused on keeping West Virginia affordable, free, and true to the Mountaineer values he’s raising his family on. He lives in Charleston with Kelly, their two sons, and they attend Bible Center Church.
