Chris Pritt On The Issues...
Faith, Community, & Conservative Values
Chris depends on his Christian faith as his foundation for his worldview and his leadership. He believes communities thrive when they are rooted in strong values including faith, service, responsibility, and respect for neighbors.
Lower Taxes & Economic Freedom
Chris has never voted for a tax increase and supports cutting taxes whenever possible. He believes West Virginians deserve to keep more of their earnings, and that leads to more jobs, more investment, and stronger families. As a small business owner and entrepreneur himself, he knows that reducing tax burdens and regulatory red tape is essential for local growth and job creation.
Defending Life & Family
Chris consistently stands up for the unborn and supports family-centered policies. He believes that the government should uplift families and communities—not run them. His votes in the legislature reflect respect for life and the belief that children and parents are best positioned to make decisions about their futures.
Protecting Girls & Preserving Fairness
Chris believes common sense still matters. He supports protecting girls’ sports so female athletes can compete on a level playing field and opposes policies that allow biological males to compete in women’s sports. He also believes women and girls deserve privacy and safety in bathrooms, locker rooms, and other private spaces—and that government should not force communities to abandon basic standards of fairness and decency.
Second Amendment Rights
To Chris, the right to keep and bear arms is fundamental. He stands with law-abiding West Virginians and opposes any attempts to erode Second Amendment protections.
Border Security & Public Safety
Chris is a strong defender of secure borders and policies that put West Virginians and Americans first by stopping the flow of drugs and illegal crossings that fuel crime and addiction in our communities. He also believes in keeping American jobs for Americans.
Local Control & Limited Government
Chris believes decisions are best made closest to the people they impact. He opposes one-size-fits-all mandates and supports giving local communities more say in education, resources, and how they prioritize spending. Limited government means fewer mandates from Charleston or Washington and more freedom for families and local leaders.
